Ocean for All – visita tattile e visita in Lingua dei Segni italiana

Nell’ambito del programma espositivo 2023 “Thus waves come in pairs” (Le onde vengono a due a due), a cura di Barbara Casavecchia, il Dipartimento educativo di Ocean Space attiva il servizio “Ocean for All” con ciclo di visite guidate tattili e in lingua dei segni italiana (LIS).

✨ VISITA IN LINGUA DEI SEGNI ITALIANA (LIS)

La visita è condotta da un mediatore insieme con un interprete LIS. Le visite in lingua dei segni sono strettamente connesse al progetto attivo dal 2020, Abecedarium. L’Oceano in Lingua dei segni, in collaborazione con l’ENS (Ente Nazionale Sordi) e il CNR ISMAR.

✨ VISITA TATTILE
🗓️ Sabato 23 settembre 2023, 14:30-15:30

Grazie alla collaborazione con gli artisti alcune sculture in mostra potranno essere fruite attraverso l’esplorazione tattile.
Le visite tattili rappresentano un momento conoscitivo e di relazione con l’opera d’arte (e non solo) importante per tutti e fondamentale per le persone cieche e ipovedenti. I visitatori, su prenotazione, saranno guidati nella costruzione dell’immagine mentale e nel raggiungimento del piacere estetico.

As part of the 2023 exhibition program “Thus waves come in pairs”, curated by Barbara Casavecchia, the Education Department of Ocean Space is launching the “Ocean for All” service with a series of tactile and Italian Sign Language (LIS) guided visits.

✨ TOURS IN ITALIAN SIGN LANGUAGE (LIS)
🗓️ Saturday, September 23, 2023, 12:30-1:30pm

The guided tours in Italian sign language (LIS) is conducted by a mediator together with a LIS interpreter.
The sign language visits are closely connected to the Abecedarium. The Ocean in Sign Language project which was started in 2020, in collaboration with ENS (Italian National Agency for the Deaf) and CNR ISMAR.

✨ TACTILE TOURS
🗓️ Saturday, September 23, 2023, 2:30-3:30pm

Thanks to collaboration with the artists, some of the sculptures on display can be enjoyed through tactile exploration.
Tactile guided tours represent a moment of understanding and connection with the works of art (and more). This is important for everyone and fundamental for blind and visually impaired people. Visitors, upon reservation, will be guided in the construction of a mental image and helped to appreciate the works’ aesthetics.
